“My name is Willie Lewis, and Kingdom Builders was created from a deep love for people and a sincere desire to serve my community.
This vision began when I saw firsthand how many children and families were struggling — not just with food insecurity, but with feeling unseen, unsupported, and unsure about their future. I recognized that our community needed more than temporary help; it needed a place of hope, consistency, and care.
Kingdom Builders Youth Development Program was established to give young people a safe space where they can eat, learn, grow, and feel loved. Every child deserves encouragement, guidance, and opportunities to succeed, no matter their circumstances. Our tutoring, computer classes, and parenting programs are designed to build confidence, knowledge, and strong foundations for future generations.
The Kingdom Builders Food Pantry was created with that same heart of service. No one should have to choose between food and other basic needs. Our pantry exists to ensure that families facing food insecurity are met with compassion, dignity, and respect. We don’t just distribute food — we build relationships, restore hope, and remind people that they matter.
Serving this community is not just a mission; it is a calling. I believe that when we come together to meet the needs of our neighbors, we create stronger families and a stronger community. Kingdom Builders is here to serve, uplift, and stand alongside those who need support — today and for generations to come.”
